Chapter 1
Introduction
1. The report should be types on A4 size papers, MUST include an Abstract, Introduction,
other chapters (depending upon your topic), and Summary and References.
2. At the end of ‘Introduction’ chapter, Objectives of the seminar report and organization of
the entire report should be given.
3. Instructions for citing and preparing the reference list are given separately (in the end of
the document)
4. The font used throughout should be Times New Roman Normal text with a font size of 12
pt, single spacing, except specially indicated. The title font is 20-pt bold.
5. Headings should be numbered consecutively for a given chapter as: 2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4 etc.
The font for the first level headings should be 14-pt bold, having 12 points leading space.
The font for the second level headings should be 12-pt bold, having 6 points leading
space. Second level headings for a given chapter should be numbered consecutively as:
2.1.1, 2.1.2, 2.1.3, 2.1.4 etc. Third level headings should be avoided.

REFERENCES
All the references appearing in text must be listed in this section. The reference should be
cited in the text using the following styles:
In case of two authors, use surname of each author and separate by ‘and’. e.g. Shuler and
Kargi (2000) [if the sentence is started with the reference] OR (Shuler and Kargi, 2000) [if a
reference has to be given in the end of a sentence before period(.)]
In case of multiple authors, use surname of the first author followed by ‘et al.’ e.g. Alfafara
et al. (2000) [if the sentence is started with the reference] OR (Alfafara et al., 2000) [if a
reference has to be given in the end of a sentence before period(.)]
Write all the references in Alphabetical order. Some examples of references are as follows.
Journal & Book References and Web References should be written under separate headings.
The examples are shown below are just to indicate the format.
