I am very interested in your posting for a Mathematics lecturer vacancy, which I found
through the Hot jobs Zimbabwe website. My interests for lectureship along with my Post
Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) majoring in Accounting and Mathematics and
Bachelor of Commerce Honours Degree in Accounting [B.Com Acc (hons)], prompted me to
forward my resume to you with the hope of further discussing my qualifications for this
position. Currently I am undertaking Master of Commerce Degree in Professional
Accounting and Corporate Governance with Great Zimbabwe University.

I am a serving member of the Public Service Commission currently employed by the Ministry
of Primary and Secondary Education teaching Mathematics and Accounting at Advanced
level at Chisungo High School since September 2014. In line with the developments in the
educational sector (new curriculum in particular), I have developed a dynamic and wide-
ranging teaching skill set. My experience during the Post Graduate Diploma in Education
gave me a strong foundation to supervise research students. I have experience in developing
course curricula and teaching methods, having devised my own school based syllabi for Pure
Maths and Statistics at the above mentioned school.

I am passionate about teaching and would embrace the chance to teach in a collegial
environment and to contribute to the development of Masvingo Teachers College. Enclosed
