The President has appointed the Nominating committee which will meet at least once this month (February). We are fortunate to
have six (6) Active Past Presidents willing to serve and they are Gretchen Abney, Laura Joseph, Earlene O’Herron, Sherry Single-
ton, Diane Schneider, & Sharlene Zwing. Thank You Ladies. Following the outlined guide under By-laws Article III–
Elections Section 1, pge 28, Gretchen being an immediate Past President, will serve as Chair of this com-
mittee, shall solicit nominations for the Officers/or Executive Committee from the membership. Keeping
in step with our By-laws, as previously noted, the president has received letters of intent from two Active
members desiring to be on the Nominating Committee. Thank you Lizzie Shooter, and Donna Welsh for
stepping forward. The Nominating committee will present at the March general meeting, a slate of can-
didates who have agreed to run for office. Please do consider taking the challenge of finding a notch that
is comfortable and one that you are able to fulfill. Please let Gretchen and her committee know of your intent to run.
