SPOKEN WORD CONTEST

“Sana All”

Mechanics
1. The contest is open to all SHS and College students of NBSPI.
2. Each student who wishes to participate should send only one entry.
3. The entry must be the participant’s own original composition.
4. To join, a participant must submit a video recording of their spoken word
performance. The performance should at least be 2 minutes long but must not
exceed 5 minutes.
5. The piece can utilize English, Filipino, Binisaya, Hiligaynon, or a combination of
these languages. Profanities are not allowed.
6. The theme of the performance should revolve around “Sana All.” The phrase /
concept is open to the participant’s interpretation. It could refer to “hoping,”
“stating a wish,” etc.
7. The piece can be delivered by spontaneously, by memory, or the participant can
use a guide (offscreen). Contestants are to wear appropriate clothing in their
recorded performance. Sound effects and musical accompaniment can be
utilized as long as they are not copyrighted material.

VLOG @ HOME CONTEST

“Flex ko lang ang OC ko”

Mechanics
1. The contest is open to all SHS and College students of NBSPI.
2. Each student who wishes to participate should send only one entry.
3. The entry must be the participant’s own original composition.
4. To join, a participant must submit a video recording of their vlog performance.
The performance should at least be 2 minutes long but must not exceed 5
minutes.
5. The piece can utilize English, Filipino, Binisaya, Hiligaynon, or a combination of
these languages. Profanities are not allowed.
6. The theme of the performance should revolve around online classes (OC). The
vlog may feature a student’s description of their online class routine or it may
have a creative storyline featuring original characters (OCs). The vlog can be
educational, descriptive, and/or entertaining. Additional, virtual cast members can
be included as long as their consent is obtained.
7. Contestants are to wear appropriate clothing in their recorded performance.
Clips, sound effects and musical accompaniment can be utilized as long as they
are not copyrighted material.
