Backflush all about the 261 movement of the component materials

The setting of the backflush is possible at below places

1 - Backflushing through material master

Component Material -> Material Master - > MRP2

If option 1 is selected, it will always backflush irespective of other backflush options selected. It will create 261 movement for
If Option 2 is selected, then based on the backflush setting at workcenter, the component material backflushing will happen
If nothing is selected then based on the backflush settings either in "parameters for order confirmation (OPK4)" or "Routings"

2 - Backflushing at workcenter
As shown below, the backflushing for the material - based on workcenter is possible. This will work only if the backflushing 2 is
3 - Backflushing in parameters for order confirmation (OPK4)
If you activate backflushing here, then 261 movement will happen irrespective of any other settings
4 - Backflushing in routings
Activate backflusing in the routing
Select routing and go to component allocation and activate for the operation
As and when operation is confirmed, it will automatically do 261 movement for the specific allocated component
5 - Backflushing in Production Order

This is equivalent to routing backflushing, irrespective of the other backflushing setting, it will do 261 movement
Go to Production Order -> Component and activate the backflush as below and save
