If I Were
If I Were
If I Were
If I Were/ If You Were - Poem by Ember Stardust If you were the moon
And if I were in a plight
If you were the thief I'd howl to you every night
And I was the heart For you will be my only light
Then i'd let you steal me
Till death do we part. If you were a musician
And if I were your guitar
If you were Still you I'd let you strum me
And I was a star Until you can strum no more
Then i'd fall for just you
Wherever you are. If you were my owner
And if i were your pet
If I was immortal I'd love you till the end of time
And you were the sea And run to you faster than a jet
Then i'd drown in you
Forever in peice. If you were a storm
And if I were rain
If I were blind I'd fight falling
And if you were my eyes For i couldn't stand the pain
I'd trust you with my life
For only you would hear my cries If you were a flower
And if I were a bee
If I were an apple I'd come back to you every day
And if you were the mouth And collect anything you'll give me
I'd let you eat me
As I traveled south If you were my mom
And if I were your kitten
If I were your phone I'd never leave your side
And if you were playing on me For I am so smitten
I'd love the feel of your fingers
As you set me free if you were my boss
and if i were your employee
If I were your jacet i'd do everything i was told
And if you were cold anything to make you happy
I'd wrap my arms around you
Without having to be told If you were hair
And if I were the head you sat on
If I were a puzzle piece I'd brush and care for you
And if you were my match Like nothing else mattered
We'd come together
And get latched
If I were a sign
And if you were passing by
I'd light up my colors
So beautiful I'll make you cry
