IN CASE OF ANY EMERGENCY DURING TAKEOFF


ROLL:

- Throttle - IDLE
- Rudder - KEEP HEADING CONTROL
- Brakes - APPLY as NEEDED

SECURE THE AEROPLANE BY [SHOW EVERY ACTION


BY HAND]:

- Throttle - IDLE
- Mixture - IDLE CUT OFF
- Ignition Switch – OFF
- Master Switch --OFF.

EVACUATE AEROPLANE, FIRE EXTINGUISHER


LOCATED BEHIND CO-PILOT BACK [SHOW]

IN CASE OF ENGINE FAILURE AFTER TAKEOFF:

LAND ON THE REMAINING RUNWAY OR ON THE


FIELD BEHIND THE RUNWAY ON THE LEFT SIDE

SECURE THE AEROPLANE BEFORE LANDING, EXCEPT


MASTER SWITCH OFF ONLY AFTER FLAPS ARE
EXTENDED

IN CASE OF ENGINE FAILURE AFTER 600 FT, RETURN


TO RUNWAY VIA LEFT/RIGHT TURN, BEST GLIDE
AIRSPEED 65 KTS.
TAXI & DEPARTURE BRIEFING:

DEPARTING SPILVE RUNWAY 14/32. RUNWAY IS


DRY/WET/DAMP/CONTAMINATED, 1000 m. WE WILL
TAXI VIA TWY A TO S/N FOR ENGINE RUN-UP.

We will perform normal T/O with:


- Flaps – 0/10
- Rotate speed – 55 KIAS
- Climbing speed – 74 KIAS

AFTER DEPARTURE WE WILL CLIMB 1500 FT AND


PROCEED TO GAUJA DELTA.
THREADS: NEW A/C, NEW PROCEDURES
ARRIVAL BRIEFING FOR RUNWAY 14/32:

ATZ ENTRY FROM OVERHEAD SPILVE AIRFIELD,


JOINING LEFT (14)/RIGHT (32) DOWNWIND, 1000 FT.
SUSPECTED THAT RUNWAY IS DRY AND 1000 m.
WE WILL PERFORM NORMAL LANDING WITH:
On downwind:
- Flaps – 10
- Speed – 75 KIAS
On base:
- Flaps – 20
- Speed – 70 KIAS
On final:
- Flaps – 30
- Speed – 60 KIAS

IN CASE BALKED LANDING:


- Throttle – FULL
- Flaps – 20
- Speed – 65 KIAS
