Simple Future Tense
The simple future tense is used to make simple predictions about the future. We do not
usually use this tense to talk about pre-planned future events.
The simple future tense is made with will/shall + first form of the verb.
I will come.
In British English, shall can be used instead of will with first person pronouns (I and we). In
American English, shall is not normally used.
Exercise
Read the following sentences. They are all in the simple present tense. Change them into
the simple future tense.
