The bar chart compares man and woman in aus in terms of post-school
qualifications. Figures are given for 1999
Overall, the figures for men was higher than women in three out of five
categories. In addition, the biggest difference was seen in the skilled vocational
diploma sector.

In 1999, the vast majority of men had vocational diploman, with around 90%
compared to only 10% for women. But the pattern was largely reserverd seen on
undergraduate and bachelor’s. while women held 70% for undergraduate and
approximately 55% for bachelor, the figures for men were lower at 38% and 45%
respectively.

There was about 7 out of 10 males who had postgraduate diploma that was more
than two times higher than females. Similarly, the percentage of men holding
master’s defgree was 60%, but the figures for women at two fifth, which was 40%
lower than men during the period.
