    Aims: To identify names and characteristics of institutions and recreational places.


    To describe the role of different institutions in the community.
    Vocabulary:
    WORD DEFINITION
    SCHOOL A place where educators teach to learners.
    HEALTH CENTER – A place where doctors and nurses take care of the
    HOSPITAL health.
    POLICE STATION A place where police officers are, they protect and help
    to people.
    FIRE STATION A place where firefighters are, they put out fire and
    rescue people.
    CHURCH A place where people go to pray to God.
    POST OFFICE A place where people receive and distribute mail and
    packages.
    BAKERY A place where a cooker bakes cakes and breads.
    BANK A place where people save money.
    PARK A place where people go to have fun and relax.
    DRUGSTORE – A place where people go to buy medicines.
    PHARMACY
    RESTAURANT A place where people go to eat.
    SUPERMARKET A large store that sells food.
    GROCERY STORE A small store that sells food
    BUS STATION A place where people take buses
