B. GRADING SYSTEM

PASS/FAIL Competent - Rated C – for every competency

achieved by each individual
student-trainee.
FALLING RATE Not Yet - Rated NYC- for the failure of each
Competent student-trainee to achieve the
desired/required competency.

This could be taken as starting average scale of grading each student-trainee as

to his/her performance, interest, capacity to learn with presence of mind in the entire
duration of the training/course.

a. GRADE

The Grade determines one-s ability to perceive what is being imparted in the
training and the entire course; this depends in the 50-50 percentage on equal footing
coming the instruction and from the student-participants/trainee themselves.

The system of grading to be emphasized is COMPETENCY-BASED. To enhance

such system, the training is hereby into levels/sections, to wit:

1. 30% in THEORY - THEORETICAL

2. 70% in ACTUALITY - HANDS ON PRACTICE

Herein, the instructors must base their grading on the performance both in
THEORY and PRACTICE of Student-Trainees.

b. CREDIT

This concerns the eligibility of student-trainee to be promoted to the next stage

but are necessary the criteria and thereby credited to move to the upper level: rated 3.

c. NON-CREDIT

This corresponds to subjects; either not required for promotion of student-

trainees but is necessary for their upbringing as trainees of the school: rated O

C. ENTRY RQUIREMENTS

a. TRAINEE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

This section specifies the qualifications of trainees and educational

experience. Other requirements like health and physical requirements are also stated.
Passing entry written examinations may also be indicated if necessary .

 With good moral character

 Able to communicate both orally and in writing
 Physical fit and mentally healthy as certified by a public health officer

a. ADMISSION TEST

In principle, admission test is a must and necessary for verification of applicant’s

readiness to undergo the training. It is a way of the clientele’s commitments to finish
the course as expected.

Requirements for Enrollment:

o Dully Filled – up Application Form

o School Diploma/ TOR/Card – Photocopy
o Birth Certificate – Photocopy
o 2 pcs. 2x2 ID Picture
o 2 pcs. 1x1 ID Picture
o 50 % (Tuition Fee) Down Payment

However, since the institution is in its neophyte stage, we do not require

entrance test for students to enroll in the school system. Thereby, the instruction in the
school implies a double-time effort to cope up with the standard set by TESDA upon the
students-trainees assessment by the latter.

b. ADMISSION FEE

As a matter of policy, we require admission or entrance fee as a kick-off start,

but in a minimal amount. This is to emphasize the degree of participation of the
applicants even to the minimum level. This eradicates and/or minimizes the ‘spoon-
feeding’ system of formation from the mentality of the masses. In return, this system
encourages the attitude of participation in the training program.

The amount of the entrance fee is through to all trade areas/qualification being
offered, to wit:

QUALIFICATION AMOUNT
 Personal Computer Operations Php 1,500.00
 Computer System Servicing [CSS] NC II 1,500.00
 Electronics Products and Services [EPAS] NC II 1,500.00
 Electrical Installation and Maintenance [EIM] NC II 1,500.00
 Shielded Metal Arc Welding [SMAW] NC II 1,500.00
 Gas Metal Arc Welding [GTAW] NC II 1,500.00
 Gas Metal Arc Welding [GMAW] NC II 1,500.00

 Automotive Servicing NC II 1,500.00
 Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning NC II 1,500.00
 Driving NC II 1,500.00

It must be noted that the payment of the entrance fee signaled the student-
trainee’s entrance into the family of the school. This recognizes the former enrolment in
to the school system.

As the program prospers in the future, the fees will either be increased or
decreased as the need arises.

D. RULES OF ATTENDANCE
 According to TESDA guidelines, specific of numbers of hours have to be
complied for a trainee to be pronounced graduate in the chosen trade. In
this connection, only three (3) absences are allowed to a trainee/student
with valid reasons, of course should be accompanied with necessary
validating documents to that affect.
 In the event of excess of this absences, the student/trainee will be
subjected for evaluation by the instructor who in turn will refer the
former to the administrator for final decision to implement in due justice.
