Task Procedures:
1. Teacher shows the slides on powerpoint.
2. Teacher explains the rules of possessive pronouns.
3. Teacher reads examples used in the sentences from the textbook.
4. Teacher emphasizes on the bolded words.
5. Pupils find a partner
6. Pupils practise with their partner using items found the classroom.
e.g. Is this your pencil?
Yes, it is mine.
No, it is not mine. It is hers.
7. Teacher calls the pupils in front and demonstrates how to play the ‘Invention Jack’.
a. Teacher distributes the sets of picture cards to a group of four.
b. Each pupil will have a picture card consists of four pictures. In every set, there will be one
common picture.
c. The first pupil will tell about a picture in his / her card.
e.g. Pupil A: I have a telephone
Pupil B: It is his / hers.
Pupil C: It is yours.
d. The process will go on for a few round.
8. Pupils are asked to complete the task sheet.
