Fans

Many people know the basics of fans but know very little about them. We have fans because
they cool our houses and light rooms up, making life comfortable and convenient. They keep air
circulating around the house, getting rid of bad smells too. Your electricity bill is also lower
when using a fan. There are many types of fans but is your fan really the best at what it's doing?
Let’s find out.

The first type of fan we will be going over is a pedestal fan. ‘Is there any fan that has a triple
combo: powerful, inexpensive, and less power consuming? Sure, the pedestal fan would win the
goal.’ (Different Common Types of Fans Applied in Your Sweat Home) This fan is very popular
in Southeast Asia. It has four to five blades and a powerful motor. Cleaning it only takes a few
minutes. Disassemble it then wash the parts. The downside is, it takes up a lot of space.

The next fan to consider is a tower fan. The first thing that people notice about it is its slim
figure and bladeless design. “The tower fan perfectly matches any room space, plus enhances
the decorated interior.” (Different Common Types of Fans Applied in Your Sweat Home) The
fan can rotate a ninety angle, some types even have a wider angle. The fan is covered in plastic
from head to toe, making it safe for households. The fan offers a variety of useful features such
as night-mode, timer, a remote control and many fan speeds. The downside is it is very hard to
clean, difficult to disassemble and reassemble and it is not really powerful.
The final fan for consideration is the floor fan. Most people usually have these sitting in their
garages somewhere collecting dust. This fan quickly cools down your small room but it can not
move or swing anywhere or move left to right. Instead it tilts. “Typically, the fan is designed
with three wide blades. Accompanied with a powerful motor; the fan is able to send super strong
winds to blow out the scorching heat.” (Different Common Types of Fans Applied in Your
Sweat Home) The downside of this fan is that it is really loud and does not offer a lot of features.

These are the types of fans that can substitute when your ceiling fan is not working. They are
reliable, quick and easy to use. While the motor from ceiling fans make your room hotter, these
fans will actually cool them down, look stylish, and save you money.
