The work “Doubling of BG line from Jhansi to Manikpur & Khairar to Bhimsen (Length 411.00 km)
including chord line at Mahoba & Khairar (length 14 Kms)” has been sanctioned by Rly Bd letter No . 2016/ W-
II/NCR/DL/37 New Delhi dt. 01.03.2018 with total amount Rs. 4329.53 Cr. (S/No. 4). The f und Rs. 565000(Ths )
is available in the shape of outlay for FY 2019-20 as per Pink book item No. 26(S/No.5)

The EPC tender f or the work “Doubling between Khairar & Yamuna South Bank (57.41 Kms) including
Electrification & Signaling works” has been opened on 25.08.2020 under NIT No. DYCE-C-II-JHS-2020-EPC01
dt. 27.04.2020. Seven offers have been received for the aforesaid work. The work of “Evaluation of Net wort h
and relating financial statements of the bidders’ or opinion on any other issues like share holding c ontrolling
share or any other matter requiring opinion of CA etc” is required to be done on top priority.

The adequate infrastructure & capacity is not available in this office and also any ongoing Cont ract,
thus, the work is required to be executed through agency.

As per the schedule attached, the anticipate estimated cost of the work is to the tune of Rs. 34, 692.00
which is being proposed to carry out through quotations being urgent nature and essential. During this financ ial
year 2020-21 contractual commitment Rs. 8.94 Lac (Approx.) only including proposed wo rk has been made
which is within ceiling limit of Rs. 60.00 Lac under the competency of JAG Of f icer during the year. The
expenditure incurred will be charged on the project “Doubling of BG line from Jhansi to Manikpur & K hairar t o
Bhimsen (Length 411.00 km) including chord line at Mahoba & Khairar (length 14 Kms)”.

As per item No. 5(F) of Model SOP on work matter of NCR, JAG officer has f ull p ower t o invite and
accept quotations per case up to Rs. 5.00 Lac in each case subject to an annual ceiling limit of Rs. 60.00 Lac.

Schedule of Rate and Quantity for the work of “Evaluation of Net worth and relating financial statements
of the bidders’ or opinion on any other issues like share holding controlling share or any other matter requiring
opinion of CA etc” is placed on file.

Approximate cost of the work is Rs. 34,692.00 which is less than Rs. 5.00 Lac and within the
competency of JAG in terms of item No. 5(F) of Model SOP on work matter of NCR.
