Paleolithic Period
( Old Stone Age)

The Paleolithic Period is the first period of human development. It is

divided into two eras; the lower and upper Paleolithic era. During this
period the humans used stones to make tools. Stone is also used as an
actual tool. The early humans lived in caves, simple huts or tepees.
Hominins were hunter-gatherer, they used basic stone and bone tools for
hunting bird and animals.

Mesolithic Period
( Middle Stone Age)
2.6 million years ago to 10 000 years ago

The Mesolithic Period is a transitonal phase between Paleolithic period and Neolitic period
