PRELIM EXAM
TOUR GUIDING VIDEO PRESENTATION GUIDELINES AND CRITERIA

1. The students will pick one (1) province in Region 1 to Region 4A.
2. The students will make or prepare a video presentation, there will be a set of pictures and
audio (Voice-over) that will be able to describe it to the tourist (audience).
3. The students must prepare his/her own description of the destination.
4. The presentation must be delivered in English.
5. The video must include an introduction.

CRITERIA DESCRIPTION
1. Storyboard/Script - 25% The storyboard illustrates the video presentation
structure with thumbnail sketches of each scene.
Notations of proposed transitions, special effects,
sound and title tracks are included: text, color,
placement, graphics, are detailed. Notes about
proposed dialogue/ narration text are included

2.Concept– 30% The concept describes a clear picture of what

students are trying to achieve including an adequate
description of what they are trying to do

3. Content/Organization - 25% The content includes a clear statement of purpose or

theme and is creative, compelling and clearly
written. A rich variety of supporting information in
the video contributes to the understanding of the
project’s main idea. Events and messages are
presented in a logical order. Includes properly cited
sources

4. Quality – 20% The video project was completed and included most
of the suggested elements. The video was well
edited and moves smoothly from scene to scene
with proper use of transitions. Audio was clear and
understandable and other enhancements were well
used

 Rehearse your script multiple times.

 The deadline of VIDEO is on Wednesday, October 21 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon
 The video must not less than 3 minutes and the maximum is 7 minutes.
