Topic: “Narrate an argument you had with a friend or family member and how the
disagreement was resolved”
The story happened 5 years ago, but I still remember it in my mind. As usual, my husband went
to work early in the morning and returned home at 6 pm. That day, at 4:30, my husband called
back to tell me that he was staying at the office today because of some unexpected work. I
received the information without any doubt. The next morning at 7:30, he called to ask me
that: “Did you have breakfast?” And said, "I will tell you a story, you must be calm to listen", I
refrained from worrying and answered "yes". He informed that the reason why he didn't come
back home last night, he had an accident. I was startled and tried to be calm in order to listen to
the whole story. He slipped and broke his arm in front of the office and he had a surgeon at the
ITO hospital last night. I was worry and angry because I noticed so late like that. But his health
was the most important so I went to hospital immediately to take care of him fist. When I saw
him at the hospital, I show a normal expression without angrily feeling. Two days later, when
evreything was become good, I wanted him to explain about unnotice me know the truth first.
He said nothing. I was talking until I received his cold answer that he did not want to say more.
And we had cold war time each other until a day that his co-worker visited him. They told about
his accident and mentioned in detail why he hid and didn't tell me the truth right away. They
said him to contact with his wife but he did not want his wife to know and arranged for himself
because his wife was pregnanting that should not listen to such stressful things. This drove out
the anger from my heart and the ice between us was broken. After all, I still expect sharing from
him everything immediately to prove that I was his own.
