    Curriculum: South Carolina Social Studies Academic Standards

    4-4.2 Explain the structure and function of the legislative, executive, and judicial

    branches of the federal government

    Technology—National Educational Technology Standards for Students 3 (Technology

    Productivity Tools): Students use technology tools to enhance learning, increase productivity,

    and promote creativity.

    Lesson Objectives

    1. After spending time playing a game on Icivics, Executive Command, students

    demonstrate an understanding of the basic powers the president holds.

    2. Unitlizing the information that students have gained from Executive Command, students

    will create a list to show the order a bill must go through to become a law.

    3. Using the Notes app on their iPad, students will describe their own country in which they

    will be the president of.
