Steve Jobs is an American businessman and inventor. He is best known as the co-
founder of Apple Inc. He is known as one of the first few people to explore personal
computer revolution. He is also famous for his influence in the computer and electronic
fields.
Steve Jobs oversaw the development of iMac, iTunes, iPod, iPhone and iPad. These
gadgets are now widely used all around the world. He received a lot of awards and public
recognition for his contribution to the world of music and technology.
Sadly, In 2003, Jobs was dignosed with cancer. He fought the illness for almost nine
years before he died in 2011. Most people were sad when he died because he was a visionary
who transformed the face of technology. People who use his products describe Jobs as the ‘
Father of the Digital Revolution’. His death was a great loss to the world.

 Chicken Curry
 A few pieces of chicken
 Curry powder
 Coconut milk
 Garlic and shallots ( peeled and chopped )
 Potatoes ( peeled and cut into wedges )
 Salt

1. Pour oil into a pot and let it heat up. Stir fry the onions until aromatic before adding the
curry powder. Stir the mixture until fragrant.
2. Once you smell the aroma , add the chicken pieces. Stir well for a minute.
3. Add in water into the pot and let it boil.
4. Then put some potatoes and let the broth simmer until the chicken becomes tender.
5. Finally, pour in the coconut milk and simmer for another five minutes. Do not forget to
add a little salt to taste.

Tasha : What do you want to buy , Mum ?

Mother : I plan to make chicken curry for our family dinner gathering. So I
need a whole chicken, a packet of curry powder and coconut
milk.
Tasha : Hmmmm, that’s my favourite! Don’t forget to put some tomatoes
and potatoes , Mum.
Mother : Yes , dear. We still have those at home.
Tasha : What else do you need , Mum ?
Mother : Let me see….. Oh yes, please get me a dozen of eggs and a loaf
of bread. I’m going to make sandwiches for tea today.
