Nifty Bees

Nifty BeES, the first ETF in India, is being introduced by BENCHMARK, an


Asset Management Company on January 8, 2002.

Objective:

The Investment objective of Nifty BeES is to provide investment returns that,


before expenses, closely correspond to the total returns of securities as
represented by the S&P CNX Nifty Index.

Dividend

This is being done to distribute income received in the scheme and bring NAV
close to 1/10th of Nifty Index. Thus after the payout of dividend, the NAV of
Nifty BeES will fall to the extent of dividend payout.

About Nifty BeES


One Unit of Nifty BeES is approximately 1/10th of the S&P CNX Nifty Index.
Nifty BeES is listed and traded on the NSE -Capital Market
Segment and is settled in the Rolling Segment on T+2 basis.
Nifty BeES can be settled only in electronic (demat) form
