Assessment Summary PEC300
Assessment Summary PEC300
MINOR PROJECT
Each lecturer is to guide their students on activities that can help students to raise fund
for a specific course. Students are normally divided into groups (number of students per
group depends on the type of activities that they do).
Students will be assessed on their involvement and participation in the project itself
based on certain criteria as stated in the rubrics (30%)
A proposal of the minor project with specific details on date, time, venue and detailed
activities is to be submitted to Master Trainer (through respective dean of faculty/school)
by week 4 of the semester.
MAJOR PROJECT
Students will be briefed on the details about the training workshop by their respective
lecturers – students are to attend a one-day training organized by an external trainer. A
week after the training, students are expected to present a proposal of an event,
incorporating all that they have learned in the training (40%). Week 10.
Like the minor project, students are also required to prepare a reflection report on their
experience in the training as well as the presentation (10%).
On week 12, students will be asked to evaluate their peers (group members) throughout
their activities for the whole semester (10%).
