Dear Ms.Balekian,

I would like to use this opportunity in order to present my associative commitment as the President
of my college Handball Club.

As a student of IMT Atlantique I was elected in November 2018 in order to prepare my team
for a school tournament in 2020. My missions were to establish a program for both tactical and
physical trainings. The knowledges from my ten years as a Handball player helped me to find a balance
between the desires of my players and the needs they had. It is indeed important to set a sturdy
foundation for players to build upon during the year.

As such, we organized with the team’s captain an intensive training weekend in Nantes with
all players from both campus and had to handle the organization of this event. This experience as
president helped to further enhance my project management competencies as well as my team
working abilities.

I am also a regional handball referee which helped me to develop my sense of responsibility. As a

referee you indeed have to ensure the safety of all players on the field as well as taking decision which
will influence the match and maybe the fate of both teams. The work on the field is equally divided
between you and your pair which means you have to work together in harmony in order to keep the
game fair. As such, I had to develop my capacity of adaptation as you to match your pair in order to
be a successful referee.
