I’m Gerald S. Fernandez, 20 years-old born on May 7,2000. I finished my elementary

school at Manuel Austria Memorial Elementary School, my junior and senior high school at
Puerto Princesa City National Highschool, and am currently studying Bachelor of Science in
Civil Engineering at Palawan State University.
After this course, I expect myself to be more knowledgeable about basic economic
methods in relation to my program. To learn how to value money and engineering economic
principles, to be efficient and be wise when it comes to decisions involving money. I also expect
to learn how to deal with risks and uncertainties in project outcomes.
Palawan State University’s Vision and Mission basically states that it aims to bring
quality education for people through top-notch methods and improve their well-being. By
providing quality education, Palawan State University improves the quality of people’s lives. It
is stated that Palawan State University provides education for life-long learning which means
that students of the school will be able to learn even after school.
The College of Engineering, Architecture and Technology aims to produce students that
know how to utilize today’s technology. Not only are students computer and technology literate,
but all well-disciplined and morally upright. CEAT graduates of PSU are expected to contribute
to the technological advancement of the world.
The Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering graduates are expected to be proficient in
planning, design and maintenance of structures. They should be able to make use of artistic,
science and concepts while working. All of these while trying to conserve the environment.
