SUMMARY OF TESTS TO BE CARRIED OUT DURING THE RECEPTION OF METERS

Inspections
1. Visual inspection

Check the following:

 4 initial verification certificates per box. Initial verification certificate corresponds to the
meter.
 No loose internals inside the meter.
 Plate data according to the attached sample.
 Connection diagram on back of terminal cover or on meter plate.
 LDS serial numbering (according to customer requirements).
 Confirm the sealing of the front cover.
 Verification of the terminal screws must be nickel-plated bronze. They should not be
attracted to a magnet.

Record for each batch:

a) The lot numbering range.
b) The numbering range of the sample stickers.
Trials and tests to be carried out on the entire randomly selected sample
2. Dielectric test (See specifications in NMP: 021 2015).
3. Idle test (See specifications in standard NMP: 021 2015).
4. Start-up test
 Current circuit - (See specifications in standard NMP: 021 2015).
5. Precision tests - According to specifications in standard NMP: 021 2015.
 Low load (5% In)
 Nominal load with FdP = 1.
 Nominal load with FdP = 0.5.
 Nominal load with FdP = 1 (System 1)
 Nominal load with FdP = 1 (System 2)
 Maximum load with FdP = 1.

Selection of 5 meters for precision testing with balanced systems in the case of single-
phase meters.
6. Integration test. (5 kWh in the positive direction). See details in standard NMP: 021 2015.
Resolution must be sufficient to determine maximum deviations less than 0.2%.
7. Integration test. (5 kWh in reverse). See details in standard NMP: 021 2015. Resolution must
be sufficient to determine maximum deviations less than 0.2%.

Additionally, you must request:

1) Valid calibration certificates of the test benches used in the reception inspection.
2) Valid calibration certificates of the test benches used in the initial verification of
electronic meters.
3) Acceptance certificate at the end of the tests.
4) The meters that are sampled must be labeled with stickers that must self-destruct and
leave a trace on the body of the meter, if it is removed. The stickers will be supplied by
the performer of the service.
5) The final inspection report must necessarily include the code and certification date of
the standards used in the initial verification of the meters supplied.
