THE EFFECT OF SCHOOL BULLYING ON CHILDREN

Bullying is a thing that usually happens in school which has a big impact.
Bullying can impact a student on physical, mental and emotional levels which can
ruin their future. They are usually treated unfairly or as derision even they are
injured. Many victims of the bully are hospitalized due to severe injuries and some
even commit suicide because they cannot stand it.

Children who are bullied will experience mental disorders such as fear of
seeing other people, feel alone and even depressed. In addition, victims of bullying
also experience severe physical violence, some of them even become disabled and
even die. Of course it all hinders their bright future even though they don't have
anything wrong with them. Many children do not want to tell their parents what
they are going through even though they feel they can't stand it, but there are some
children who tell their parents what happened. Parents certainly fear that happens
further to their children so they tell it to the school. The school certainly took
decisive action to deal with it such as firing the perpetrators to give a deterrent
effect. However the reality is that until now bullying always happens and takes a
lot of victims.

Most of the victims need years of treatment and therapy to get over their
psychological trauma caused by the bully. Chronic bullies carry this kind of
behavior until their adulthood. Their ability to build and keep positive relationships
is negatively influenced. So we must take decisive action to deal with bullying
problems such as imprisoning bullying so people are afraid to do it again.
