Describe the duties of the position here. What are the responsibilities of this office?

The duties if being a PUD Commissioner include; setting rates, setting PUD policies, adopting
system plans for electric and water utilities. Approving revenue obligations, guiding PUD
operations, and they also appoint the CEO/Manager of PUD.

How you help fight the climate crisis during your term? “Carbon taxes, threats to low cost hydro power, cyber-
attacks, and an emerging world of renewable energy, electric vehicles, and distributed generation. I will
continue to work diligently on your behalf to ensure that your utility is prepared for the future and that your
voices are heard.”

What 2 things do you plan to focus on during your term? “I will work to maintain stable electric and water rates
while improving grid reliability. I also want to provide citizens with convenient smartphone applications to
monitor their utility costs and usage, adjust their services, and pay their bills.”

How is Snohomish County using 100% clean energy? What forms of clean energy? “ I support our customers
choosing to do even more by installing solar panels, purchasing shares of our upcoming community solar
project, or subscribing to our new voluntary Carbon Solutions program providing 100% green energy.”

lowering their bills and providing assistance to low income seniors and families.”
