WEEK 5 - MEDLIT

A. Interactive Media
1. There are numerous activities that makes the social media an interaction for
everyone using it. First, the question type posts that triggers and gives the audience
something to think about. Second, polls that are commonly used by the celebrities to
let their fans pick their hair’s new color or even their shoes for the day. Third,
contests- this ECQ has opened a lot of contest in facebook, twitter, and Instagram.
Either through raffle or sharing of a pages content. Fourth, interactive infographics
that educate the audience while keeping it open for discussion. Lastly, the different
selling of products. Products are now famous being sold online rather than in
physical stores due to the ECQ.
2. There are numerous activities that connect the people right now using social media.
As I have answered in number one, political posts are very engaging nowadays, it is
common too for women to actively posts their sexual assaulters and predators that
are being called out by the audience. It is also highly engaging and incorporating as
social media post are commonly made publicly, being open to criticisms and even
opinions and sympathy. There are also news that are being shared everyday through
the platforms specially now that the lading station is off the grid.
3. I have played Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and Call of Duty Mobile as a way to
relieve my stress and anxiety during this pandemic.
4. Both of the games are interactive for there is a chatroom available for it, and both are
good regarding entertainment and stimulating nerves and coordination skills.

B. Challenges
1. There are a lot of things that I have learned in this course, most specially being
aware of how every post I make can affect other people and portray me as a person.
The greatest benefit and easiest for me is understanding interactive use of media,
and the hardest for me was also that. Because although I relate to the said topic I
also find it hard to incorporate and apply my lessons into every post.
2. The most interesting part of MEDLIT is having to understand how everyone is able to
communicate and engage with each other through their phones, feeling as if they are
together even though they are miles apart.
