Community development is a process where community members are supported by agencies to identify

and take collective action on issues which are important to them. Community development programs
are led by community members at every stage - from deciding on issues to selecting and implementing
actions, and evaluation. While Social marketing has the primary goal of achieving "social good".
Traditional commercial marketing aims are primarily financial, though they can have positive social
effects as well. In the context of public health, social marketing would promote general health, raise
awareness and induce changes in behaviour. Between the two I preffered on community development
for it creates unison in the community using leisure programs
