1. What are the first four values to consider in increasing access to knowledge and
culture worldwide? Explain each.
Openness emphasizes transparency in all areas and free and restricted access to
knowledge and information. It is about vulnerability in trust among the employers that
will lead to better organizational performance.
Collaborative means in culture differences each of the members of the organization
should have collaboration to help maximize employee’s knowledge and capabilities.
Ideas and information spread more easily when employees communicate and
collaborate across each departments of the company.
Culture of respect and civility starts at the top. An organization must have respect with
each other within the company. Person cultures should be respected and aligned on the
values on the overall organization thus this will make the company’s success. Note that
this value is interconnected with collaboration and good communication.
Participate and contribute your ideas and exchange information on a group.
Brainstorming is a part of this value where it makes the goal of the organization success
for there is a participation and collaboration on each.
