Performance objective
The candidate will demonstrate the ability to train staff using the session plan developed in
Assessment Task 1.

Assessment description
In this assessment task, you are required to conduct a training program based on the session
plan developed in Assessment Task 1. You then need to prepare a report to evaluate the
training delivered.

Procedure
Part A
1. You will be observed training your staff member using the session plan developed in
Assessment 1. Be sure to adapt the session to the needs of your learner, and utilise
adequate resources for your session.
2. This will be observed during your presentation, which requires you to:
 Act professionally
 Use real resources
 Communicate effectively with your student
 Ensure the learning environment is safe

Part B
Finally, you are to evaluate the learning plan and session and provide a written report
detailing:
 How you evaluated the learning (use of feedback forms are important here)
 What worked
 What didn’t work
