PRELIMINARIES

Provide all the following items necessary for the


proper and legal execution of the works

A Mobilization for the works Sum 500,000

The contactor shall allow for mobilisation of his team,


tools and equipment to site for purposes of executing
the speciiced works only

B Water for construction works and human Item 1 0


consumption
The Contractor shall allow for providing all temporary
water supplies required for the works, including Sub-
Contract Works, together with all necessary storage
tanks and distribution systems for the same and must
allow for bearing all expenses incurred and paying for
all water consumed without charge to any Sub-
Contractor. Expenses in connection with Nominated
Sub-Contractors should be allowed for in the
attendance items under the relevant P.C. Sums.

No guarantee or warranty is given as to the availability


or suitability of water at the site.

C Lighting and power for the works Item 1 0

The Contractor shall allow for providing all temporary


lighting and power supplies required for the works,
including Sub-Contract works, together with all
necessary distribution systems for the same and must
allow for bearing all expenses incurred and paying for
all current consumed without charge to any Sub-
Contractor. Expenses in connection with Nominated
Sub-Contractors should be allowed for in the
attendance items under the relevant P.C. Sums.

A Plant and Tools Item 1 0

The Contractor shall be responsible for the provision of


all materials, scaffolding, tools, plants, transport and
workmen required for the Works except insofar as may
be stated otherwise herein and he shall allow for the
provision of the foregoing except for such items
specifically and only required for the use of the
Nominated Sub-Contractors as described herein.

All such plant, tools and scaffolding shall comply with


all regulations whether general or local in force
throughout the period of the Contract and shall be
altered or adapted during the Contract as may be
necessary to comply with any amendments in / or
additions to such regulations.

B Demobilization and site cleaning after works Sum 500,000

The contactor shall allow for removal of of his tools


and equipment from site after the defined job has been
completed to the satisfaction of the Client

This shall involve making good any damaged external


works and removal of any debris that was as a result of
the construction works and disposing away from site

POMPEI GRILLS

designated areas as per client requirement, including
