Life cycle stages of digital adoption in Myanmar
In the past year, the citizens of Myanmar do not really know about the digital technology.
People just using the key pad phone to communicate each other. But from the last two or
years, the foreign digital technology investors are likely to invest in Myanmar. And also the
Myanmar business investors are trying to get franchise from Huawei, Oppo, and Samsung. As
they got the contract each other, the foreign digital technology companies accessed to the
market. When the price are not really too much, the level of buyers also increased. Last 15
years, the SIM card price was too high. Only the high income people can buy the cell phone. But
from the last 5 years, the government bought the technology about SIM card. After that, the
price of a SIM card is only 1500MMK. The level of cell phones users are higher than the
previous year. Not only are that people just using Computer in previous year. But in 21 st
Century, the technology is advancing day by day, people are using Laptop for their work,
education and so on.
