I am writing to apply for the position of College Instructor in Maryhill College, as informed by
Mr. Carlo M. Pacinos. I am working at Quezon National High School as a Secondary School
Teacher. I am currently a doctorate candidate at Manuel S. Enverga University Foundation, and
fully expect to complete my master’s degree next year.

I am extremely interested to work in Maryhill College as a College Instructor, for I strongly

believe that this endeavor will make me more competitive and productive in teaching profession.
My objectives as a teacher are to motivate my students, to develop their critical thinking skills,
and to establish a learner-centered environment in the classroom, because I am considering and
accepting the fact that students nowadays belong to 21st Century Education; therefore,
categorized as 21st Century learners. Likewise, collaborative learning is also central to my
teaching philosophy in order to promote reflective thinking and improve the students’
communicative skills.
