Question 1: (50 marks)


Use Logs 1 and 2 and solve the following problems.

a) Divide the interval 8600-8700ft into 6 or fewer zones and complete the following
table. For each zone, show the boundary, lithology and, if porous, the fluid contents on
the logs. Each zone should be 5ft or thicker. Use bulk density and neutron porosity
and appendix chart to define lithology.
