Revealing a confident, superior shape in any architectu-

ral setting without being obviously obtrusive – this is the
real strength of the MIRAL T16 look. By both develo-
pers and designers wanting to exploit T16 technology, it
makes it possible to give the luminaire body its extre-
mely low-profile slim shape which is further emphasised
by its linear contours. This is what makes the MIRAL so
elegant, with the end caps punctuating the exciting,
converging surfaces of the luminaire. But it is not only
the MIRAL T16's sleek shape that impresses. Studio
Ambrozus views successful design as an expression of
pure functionality. It is no coincidence that optimum
handling and installation were an important distinctive
feature when designing the luminaire. The in-house
designed mounting bracket is a great success – a
totally new feature in this product line – which revolutio-
nises and simplifies installation (patented) significantly.

plete luminaire and the louvre and lamp are securely
protected inside the housing.

When we designed the MIRAL, we did not just concen-

trate on shape and looks. The challenge of achieving
the most perfect possible design involves a lot more
than just producing a beautiful, aesthetically pleasing
product. Good design must also bear in mind the requi-
rements which are placed on the product when it is
manufactured, operated, installed and integrated into a
room and an interior decor. This is the only way to
develop a holistic approach and design the shape and
function of a new product.
