SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS SPECIFICATION

3.1 INTRODUCTION

3.1.1 Purpose

Botnets can be stumbled upon in a variety of different ways. Detection can

manifest itself in the form of malware-hunting based intelligence or from the perspective
of network machine diagnosis of a problem.

3.1.2 Definitions

All the definitions are explained in Appendix A.

3.2 OVERALL DESCRIPTION

3.2.1 Product Function

There is only one kind of user for our product. The general user will be able to
perform all the operations on the product after installing the product on his machine.
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 or higher is required to install the product.

3.2.2 User Characteristics

Any user with a little knowledge of computers and security will be able to operate
our application.

3.2.3 Dependencies

The system only depends on the fact that Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 or
higher is installed. Also BMP images of reasonable size are required to carry out Botnet.
