1. GENERAL
1.1. NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
High-power test shall be performed on request on stands 40 thru 42.

1.2. LOW VISIBILITY PROCEDURES (LVP)


1.2.1. GENERAL
LVP shall be applied when any of the following conditions is met:
- when any transmissometer indicates an RVR of 600m or less;
- when the visibility is less than 600m (in case of transmissometer failure);
- when the weather conditions are deteriorating rapidly and this is advisable.
ATC will inform the pilot via RTF when LVP are being applied.
LVP will be cancelled when the following conditions are met:
- when all transmissometers indicate RVR above 1000m or visibility above
1000m (when transmissometer out of service);
- clear and favourable improving trend in the weather conditions for a period of
at least 10 minutes.
1.2.2. GROUND MOVEMENTS
When LVP in force, only one ACFT will be cleared to taxi at a time in the maneu-
vering area.
Pilots shall proceed to verify the situation of the ACFT at all times, ensuring that
taxiing takes place under conditions of complete safety. In the event of disorien-
tation or doubt they shall halt the ACFT and notify the TWR immediately,
including the last known position.
1.2.3. ARRIVAL
An ACFT that has landed, after reporting "RWY vacated" shall hold and await
taxiing instructions.
On entering the parking apron, it shall await the presence of the Follow-me car
for guidance to the assigned stand. It shall report "Follow-me in sight" and
"TWY vacated" to TWR.
1.2.4. DEPARTURE
Pilots shall request clearance for start-up or taxiing, reporting the stand and
apron exit TWY requested.
In the event that an ACFT has to return to the apron, the pilot shall inform the
TWR and await new instructions.
1.2.5. COMMUNICATIONS FAILURE
Departing/arriving ACFT shall continue with the designated route up to the clear-
ance limit, taking extreme care and not deviating from the route. Once there, it
shall hold until the arrival of a Follow-me car.
