CORREIGENDUM TO REGION MEMORANDUM AD, 31, series 2020

RE: REINFORCEMENT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE POLICY ON ALTERNATIVE
WORK ARRANGEMENT AMIDST COVID-19 PANDEMIC

1. Guided by the risk-based severity classification of provinces and cities of this

region due to the COVID-19 pandemic and local executive ordinances, this office
hereby corrects particularly paragraph 2 of Region Memorandum AD No. 31, series
2020 entitled Reinforcing the Implementation of the Policy on Alternative Work
Arrangement Amidst COVID-19 Pandemic.

2. Said paragraph is correct to read as follows:

2.a. To facilitate easier contact tracing of personnel, division offices and schools
are advised to have fifty percent (50%) of the total number of non-teaching
employees to be working from home (WFH) or telecommuting for 3 days and the
other 2 days to report as skeleton workforce in the office. Such arrangement will be
done alternately with the other 50% of the office/school non-teaching employees;
2.b. All teachers are placed on total Work from Home status as alternative
work arrangement effective August 19, 2020 until further directive shall be
issued;
2.c. The work form home alternative work arrangement shall not be construed as
“vacation or leisure time”. All concerned are expected to e doing work related
activities during office hours; hence, all teaching and non-teaching personnel who will
be traced at the malls, markets, and other places during working time shall be dealt
with administratively; and
2.d. Should an employee on WFH status needing essential transactions or
services like medical concern during office hours shall inform the concerned head of
office/school for the issuance of pass slip.

5. All schools division are directed to monitor the compliance of this issuance.

6. All other information contained in Region Memo AD31, s. 2020 are still enforced.
