AutoIMAGE System
Introduction
The unique AutoIMAGETM System combines the benefits of
automation, interactive multimedia technology, and high-
performance microscopy to provide the most powerful,
advanced, intuitive and versatile FT-IR microscopy system avail-
able. This specification sheet details the major features of the
AutoIMAGE System to help you choose and configure an FT-IR
microscopy system specifically suited to your needs.
AutoIMAGE System
Principle: A unique and powerful FT-IR microscopy
AutoIMAGE System with Spectrum One FT-IR spectrometer
system optimized for both IR and visual
performance, with all microscope
components automated and controlled from
the interactive multimedia IMAGETM
Software. Includes motorized sample stage,

Motorized Sample
Stage: Standard stage is 3 x 2-inch (75 x 50 mm) full
travel. A 9 x 4-inch (215 x 100 mm) stage is
available with the SpectrumTM GX.
Minimum step size is 1 µm. Motorized focus
(Z-control). Point-and-click mouse control.
AutoIMAGE harnesses the benefits of interactive multimedia and flexible data
collection. You can collect data in several ways: from a series of points, along a
line, or across a defined area. Data from a polymer-coated painted metal beverage

collection for Spectrum One and Spectrum GX false color, contour, wire surface projection or
FT-IR spectrometers. 3D-rendered surface projection with interactive
rotation and zoom controls. IR images can be overlaid.
