1 Thessalonians 4:13

“And now brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died
so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.”

Why are we terrified of dying?

When greater things are waiting beyond death,
What are we so afraid of?
When Jesus conquered death and rose after 3 days,
When what it means to die is to rise again and live with Christ.

Is it because we have fallen for the offers presented by the world?

And what God promised is a subject of uncertainty?
Or is it because we are guilty that we have not lived to be worthy of the promise made by God?
Not worthy of the title?

A question of faith or rather an eye opener to those hypocrites that proudly claim they believe;
this is a reality slap for those who do not walk their talk. Isn’t it time to redirect ourselves and
question the definition of faith we lived up to? Isn’t it time to realize defining it alone make us
hypocrites and instead we are quite proud of ourselves because we “believe”?

We say it is up to God to judge the people who have wronged us,

Yet we continuously

Colossians 3-4:25
“But if you do what is wrong, you will be paid back for the wrong you have done. For God has
no favorites”

2 Timothy 3-4:12

“Everyone who wants to live a godly life in Jesus Christ will suffer persecution”

For we are called to imitate the life of Jesus Christ

We must be ready to face pain, and even death,
But worry not, for the rewards of our suffering will await in our place in His kingdom
And we shall live in paradise with Christ from then on.

Titus 2-3:5
“He saved us not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy.”

For He sent us His only Son to die for us,

Not because we were worthy
But because of his overflowing mercy,
And unfathomable love for us
Titus 2-3:9
“Do not get involved in foolish discussions about spiritual pedigrees or in quarrels and fights
about obedience to Jewish laws. These things are useless and a waste of time”

Quarrels and debates about beliefs brings division. People who believed more in their
knowledge instead of the truth

Hebrews 2-3:3

“Jesus deserves far more glory than Moses, just as a person who builds a house deserves more
praise than the house itself”

Hebrews 1-2:6-8

What are mere mortals

That you should think about them.
Or a son of man that you should care for him?
Yet you made them a little lower than angels
And crowned them with glory and honor.
You gave them authority over all things.
