a. Sheet /Strip Specifications was specified initially as against Pipe specification.
Suggested Improvement: - Std designation for various items tabulated & forwarded to procurement dpt for ready reference
for future correct ordering

b. In correct Purchased designation

2..Miscommunication
a. Since Chinese vendors are selected for supply , there is some small gap between understanding.
Suggested Improvement :- During vendor assessment / Visit , requirement shall be fully explained to the maximum understanding
level.

3..Consultant Comments
a. Hutnik assessment & restriction for using elbows other than 3D ( Elbow diameter)
Suggested Improvement :- Only verbal correspondence was done & 3D was insisted by Hutni without any further changes. In
future a transmittal shall be made & further mail /telephonic communication shall be made so as to convince the consultant for
lower diameters.

4..Inspection & QAP

a. PMI & other quality checks not accepted by vendor , although QAP was signed & agreed by the Vendor.
Suggested Improvement :- During vendor assessment / Visit , requirement shall be fully explained to the maximum understanding
level. If possible vendor shall be invited for desk to desk discussions & acceptance.
