The two cities have very similar patterns and characteristics with some differences mainly in the
precipitation. Cleveland is in the center portion of America and is located near Lake Erie. The differences
in their climates are most likely due to the fact that Manhattan is near an ocean, which has ocean
currents, while Cleveland is not.

The most significant difference in the locations of the two cities is their latitude. Aparri is
considerably higher up north than Manila. Their temperatures are similar and are both stabilized by the
waters they are near to.

Despite the seemingly similar locations of the cities they have a lot of differences when it comes
to their climate. The main factor here is the Pacific Ocean. Surigao is considerably closer and more
affected by the Pacific Ocean which explains why it receives a lot more precipitation than Zamboanga
which is a lot farther from the Pacific.
