1. What cultural assumptions fuel Victor’s perspective as a leader of a state agency?

The cultural assumption that fuel Victor’s perspective as a leader of a state agency is
that he is familiar with the procedures, rules and norms that Victor has been used to
within the 25 years of his service. And also his achievement and lots of experiences of
his work as public servant in terms of solving many problem.

2. Where does Victor’s motivation to lead come from?

Victor’s motivations come from his 25 years in service and since he is in many years of
service in public agency he has lots of experiences than of others and he enjoys what
he’s doing in serving public and being with his colleagues in his workplace.

3. How would you describe Victor’s self-concept and the influence of it on his leadership?

I describe Victor’s self- concept and influence on his leadership is his being a hard
working person who have great accomplishment in his workplace despite of the new
changes in his department. Victor being a leader is because of his influence to the rules
and procedures that is helpful for him to become a great leader.
