Materials:
● Yarn: Approximately 120 yards of worsted (4) Gauge:
yarn (30 of color 1 and 90 of color 2) for smaller 8 sts and 7 rows = 2 inches (5 centimeters)
sizes, and approx. 415 yards (65 of color 1 and 350 in Half Double Crochet
of color 2) for larger sizes. ***It is important to check your gauge!***

● Crochet Hook: Size 5.5 mm (I/9) OR whatever Cable Sequence:
size is needed to obtain gauge Skip the next 4 sts, FPTR around the 5th stitch, FPTR
around the 6th stitch, DC into the 3rd and 4th sts
● Yarn or Tapestry Needle

For Pom-Pom: Wrap Color 1 around 4 fingers approx. 70 times. Remove from fingers. Use
separate piece of yarn to tie in the middle (make sure to leave 5-7 inch tails. Cut all loops on both
sides of the tie. Trim pom to desired length. Using yarn needle, attach pom to the end of the hat
with the piece of yarn that you used to tie the center.
