Reflective Summary :
1. This excel assignment helped me in fetching the concepts
of if function , PMT function , Vlookup function, etc .
2. I got to know how to find rate per period and # of pmt
Payoff periods including summary statistics which are the
Year integration of Total, average, median , lowest and highest of
2041 house cost , down payment and amount financed.
2046 3. The textbook helped me alot in getting through the
2042 understanding the formulas and concepts.
2032 4. This excel worksheet helped me in understanding different
2048 concepts which will help me in future business goals.
5. The class lectures and textbook helped me in decision
making process. The main decision was calculating monthly
PMI.
6. By applying some formulas i was getting different results .
The advantage of absolute reference was that it makes the
value of active cell absolute and also for the rest of the cells.
for example , in rate per period , first i divided E8 by B5 but
in E9 and rest of the cells in was getting error So, by making
the B5 absolute value by using absolute reference i got the
results without an error for the rest of the cells. It applies
same for the pmt periods, APR , etc.
7. First strategy was understanding the concepts of excel ,
Second was finding out the results through it and finally ,
analysing the results.
8. Overall, this is the good experience in understanding basic
concepts of excel. it enhances knowlegde in field of business
studies and calculations as well.
