MASTER BY COURSEWORK/MIXED MODE/ CLINICAL (DENTISTRY)


- REGISTRATION AND CANDIDATURE

1. The candidate is advised to take note of the following:-

(i) This
( offer is valid only for the specified semester. You are required to complete your
registration
i not later than 21 September 2020. You are not allowed to postpone the
registration
) to the next semester. If you fail to register within the given period, this offer will lapse.

(ii) Rules and Regulations governing the degree;


(a) The candidate shall not register concurrently for any programme of study that will lead to the
award of any degree in this university or any other university or Institution.
(b) The candidate is required to attend at a satisfactory level the Bahasa Malaysia course that
conducted by the University within the first two (2) semester of the candidature unless he
possesses at least level pass in Bahasa Melayu or Bahasa Malaysia at the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia
or Level III in the Sijil Kecekapan Bahasa Malaysia or Level III in the Sijil Intensif Bahasa
Malaysia of the University or a Bahasa Malaysia course recognised by the University.

(c) The Research Report or Dissertation or Thesis either approved or not, for the award of the
Degree and the results, data, materials, invention, know-how, copyright of works, design, of the
research leading to the Research Report or Dissertation or Thesis concerned including all
intellectual property therein shall be vested in and remain the property of the University. The
University reserves the right to limit or restrict printing, notification and use, or any of the
following transactions for the time being required for the purpose of protecting or obtaining
intellectual property rights:

(a) a Research Report or Dissertation or Thesis; and/or


(b) the results, data, materials, invention, know-how, copyright of works, design, of the
research leading to the Research Report or Dissertation or Thesis concerned.

(iii) The candidate by Mixed Mode is required to:


(a) present your research proposal before you commence on the research component of your
programme after completing the coursework component.
(b) present your research progress during a candidature defence.
(Note: The date of requirements (a) and (b) will be decided by the faculty)

(iv) The( University has the right to vary the prescribed fees and other payments without prior notice to
the5 candidate.

2. For purposes of the registration, please do the following:-

(a) Credit Card – Bursar, Universty of Malaya counter only or;
(b) Internet Banking – CIMB Clicks, BIMB online, or;
(c) Cash Payment – Islamic Bank Counter only
(Note: Other methods of payment are not allowed)

stipulated in this offer letter, The University of Malaya has the right to amend or vary the said terms and
conditions and you shall be subjected to all the terms and conditions as may be determined for your
programme of studies including any amendments or variations as may be decided by The University from
time to time.

5. Please be informed that your application has been processed based on the information and the documents
provided by you. In case of any inaccurate or falsification of documents during the application, the
