Darshan Environment Audit Cell at DIET

Darshan Institute of Engineering and Technology (DIET) is a leading

technical educational institution driven with the object of meeting educational
needs of Gujarat. Institute is established by Shree G. N. Patel Education and
Charitable Trust in a year of 2009. It is recognized by All India Council for
Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Gujarat
Technological University (GTU). Institute offers a Two-year Master, Four-
year Degree and Three-year Diploma in all five of the traditional majors
namely Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Computer and Electronics &
Communication.

We have qualified, trained and motivated personnel for any type of

environment monitoring. All kinds of monitoring equipment are available with
us viz. Respirable Dust Sampler (RDS), PM2.5 Sampler, Combo Sampler (PM2.5
& PM10), High Volume Sampler (HVS), Stack Kits. Instruments such as Stack
Kit, RDS etc. are manufactured by reputed manufacturers as per the
standards and guidelines laid down by BIS. We follow a strict protocol of
sampling, chain of custody, analysis and reporting to national and
international standards. Regular maintenance and calibration of monitoring
instruments is done as per requirements. The laboratory is well equipped with
sophisticated instruments. It covers almost all parameters required for
environmental control purposes. The laboratory has well qualified and
experienced staff.

Dr. R. G. Dhamsaniya (Coordinator of DEAC)

Dhamsaniya sir is one of the popular personality in the field of engineering

education. He has started his career as a lecturer from L. E. College Morbi and
worked for 10 years. In 1996, he moved to V. V. P. engineering college where
he has played vital role in infrastructural & academic development of the
institute. He has also worked with Atmiya College for 2 years. In the year
2009, with the intention of giving a platform for committed education, he has
started Darshan Institute of Engineering & Technology with the team of
dedicated faculties. He has played key role in development of structural
consultancy, environment auditing, energy auditing, material testing, and
highway consultancy, etc. with various Government, Semi-Government and
reputed private organization in order to connect the academics & industries.

Prof. M. R. Gohel (Environment Auditor)

Prof. Milan R. Gohel is D.E. in Chemical Engineering from Government

Polytechnic College, Rajkot, B.E. in Chemical Engineering from V.V.P.
Engineering College, Rajkot. He is GPCB recognized and NABL Approved
Schedule-I Environmental Audit Team Member. He is a life member of the
Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).

Prof. V. C. Dholakiya (Environment Auditor)

Prof. V. C. Dholakiya has done his Post Graduation in M.Sc. (Microbiology)

from Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University in 2008. Earlier before
joining Darshan College he has worked with Balaji Wafers Pvt. Ltd. as a QC
in-charge. He is a Team member of Environmental Audit Cell at DIET.
