    For a reunion, a family gathered at a local restaurant. Everyone


    indulged on food from the buffet & salad bar while fun games
    were played. Many of the family members began experiencing
    abdominal cramps, nausea, and vomiting within 32 hours of
    each other. Several ran a fever. An article was run in the local
    newspaper reporting that the restaurant was being
    investigated for possible food contamination. This organism
    was isolated on culture.
    Day 1 Culture Readout: Below are the results of the routine culture after overnight in a CO2
    incubator at 35 ⁰C .
