AMERICA CUP 2020

The América cup event will be played between June 12 and July 12, 2020.

CONMEBOL announced that the opening match will be between Argentina and

Chile. Which will be played in Buenos Aires, more precisely at the Estadio

Monumental de Núñez, Antonio Vespucio Liberti. Conmebol will divide the teams

into two groups: North Zone and South Zone.

Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Venezuela and one of the two invited teams will

play in the north. While the southern group will be formed by Argentina, Bolivia,

Chile, Paraguay, Uruguay and the other invited selection.

All the teams in each group will play against each other and the best four will

advance to the quarterfinals. With this, the total matches of the competition will be

increased by twelve, as each team will go from playing a minimum of three

matches to five.
