Staff Meeting Highlites—4 September 2007

CC: No status change on National Commander at this time. National Headquarters
has requested and sent information to all units to hold an open house in October. A
Community Service project-Wreaths Across America has been taken on by LTC. John
Talbott. CPPT needs to be completed by 24 cadets over age 18 and by 30 seniors.
There should be no contact by seniors with cadets until this is corrected. Promoted
Cadet Programs Ofc. Kathryn Petersen to Captain from receiving her Spaatz Award.
We will be starting the Centralized Maintenance Program in October, now being re-
quired by National and will receive our second glass cockpit in February.
CV: Aircraft Log Change—no longer using NEWG form 7 and 7b’s. National is stan-
dardizing the forms that are to be used in each aircraft.
IG: SUI inspections are on a 2 year cycle, updated schedule out soon. 99th Pursuit
Squadron Inspection is 22 September. Recently attended IG Course at National and
is well worth the time.

communications equipment to revalidate CAPF 37c’s. 27 October is Communications
Manager Meeting in Fremont.
PD: CLC at Camp Ashland 8-9 September-space is available if anyone still wants to
attend, bring application signed by unit commander, billeting will be on your own. Sev-
eral members still need to complete CPPT and any member not having it will not be
able to participate in activities.
LGT: Recall of Fremont Van from Ford on cruise control needs to be repaired. Ask-
ing other units with Ford vans to check on recall #05C28 with dealership. Thanks to
Northeast and Seward for August vehicle reports, need others in ASAP. 26610 is
currently in the hangar in Lincoln, if needed.

bers and #4 in last 12 months. Congratulations to 3 squadrons in growth, Tri-
Cities-64% gain, 155th Composite-24% gain and Seward-20% gain. Thanks to
Major Gordon Blake, Captain Rod Rudebusch and Lt. Dave Anderson at Tri-Cities
for their hard work as most of their growth has been with cadets.

that all wings submit a report for a 2007 Safety Event. An email has been sent
with information needed by 12 September. Need everyone’s response for this
